Katherine Durkes runs The Excellent Living Guide, a website on do-it-yourself bath and body, and the Yahoo Group "Home Bath & Body." She has written three books about making your own bath and body products.
The first book, "The Fast Guide To Making Your Own Bath Bombs (and Fizzies)," has gotten over 10,000 downloads from her site this year.
The Fast Guide has been featured on Ready Made Magazine and About.com, and has helped many struggling bath bombers make these tricky bath treats!
The second book is out!
The Fast Guide to Making Perfume teaches beginners how to whip up their own personal scents. It covers how to make excellent designer duplications, getting started with essential oils and absolutes, creating oil and solid perfumes, and blending original fragrances.
